This helps a lot! It's the same pump as far as I can tell, and I didn't think that the hose would go up like that before going down. I guess it has something to do with making sure there's enough flex in the rubber line when the engine revs? At any rate, I appreciate the photos!

They’re 4150’s so they’re mounted sideways. There is no fuel coming out of the vents as I’ve run it without air cleaners during some of the runs and no sign of that. Fuel pressure is 5.5 so that’s probably not an issue. I’ll level the car out and see where the floats sit.

I can’t remember if your carbs are inline or sideways. If they are inline you may have enough fuel in the bowls that Turing one way will lift the float and shut off the fuel. But it would have to be an aggressive long turn for that. The other thing I’ve seen is too much fuel in the bowl and...

You should have an "AutoMex" plate welded to the ....a few years ago I could have told you where. Either the shock tower, or where the US fender tag would be? They are NOT similar to any US car VIN tag or data plate.

It’s a molded 1 piece carpet no tagging, well i guess I’ll never know. May just keep it for prosperity. Already ordered the 2 piece carpet. But there was 2 holes cut out under seats and 2 more small holes towards rear seat pan maybe carpet came from another vehicle.
