Thanks for the reply. Is there a need to do that if everything is good. The reason I ask is I will at some point put the volt meter in the cluster and attach the two wires. But is there a danger to running in my current configuration until then. Also should there be a fuse in line to the battery...

    1969 Barracuda tail panel repop?

The tail panel that came on my Barracuda is not the correct one. It doesn't fit quite right and the 1969 didn't have "Barracuda" on the right like that. It is a single piece. I want to replace it with a Formula S style one but I'm not sure this is the entire panel or just the middle center...

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

Darn, I don't have my gasket set yet, just ordered this morning~;), can't install the crank until I have the rear main seal/s. Well, heck, I guess I could install it, just slide it in once here! I'd rather install it without the crank in though. meh For fun, I installed the cam, lots of engine...

Our place in Port Charlotte, FL dodged a bullet for once. We lost our roof in Ian a couple years ago, Al is pretty familiar with that one. The entire house had to be gutted back to bare cinder block and stud walls and completely rebuilt. Work was finally finished this spring. We are on the...

Starting to see a few sprouts in the patch I put around the back deck, encouraging, sometimes I think if you get a bad or old batch the stuff just won't sprout. Needs to not freeze and it might take before winter.

    Super Victor port matching

Nice photos on these threads. I have Edelbrock's single-plane intake with the EFI bosses cast into it on my 440 RB motor. Before sending it to Wilson's for their Intermediate port job, I had to have both intake surfaces cut to lower the manifold towards the crank. This was so the floor of the...

    Super Victor port matching

Thanks. The Victor can be welded or epoxied for sure but the Victor was not right for my application anyway so it wasn't worth the expense or effort. The whole intake is really uneven especially up into the runners. I knife-edged the dividers and they ended up getting wavy so it's not just the...

    Hurricane Helene

I'm up in Cincinnati. The wind knocked down two 50' + trees. The one missed the house by (---) this much. It did get the back deck. The top of the tree took out about 4' of deck railing, several chairs are bent up and a glass top table is destroyed. It also destroyed a really nice pop up that we...

    340 or 408?

Plus when normal driving your only making the hp needed at that moment so at 2500 rpm one engine makes 400 tq vs 325 tq at full throttle so maximum tq available at that rpm , but you might only using/making 50 hp which is only 105 tq, but you have 190hp/400tq or 155hp/325tq in reserves, more...

Curious front end issue. Ideas wanted

I don't know if this will help you or not but when I aligned my Duster, I set both front tires on a pair of thin teflon cooking sheets from the dollar store with grease between them. They seemed to work great to let the tires go where they wanted when adjusting. I got the idea from someone on...
