Put the right gasket on. Problem solved. The pan has to be in excellent shape. Clean everything with acetone using clean white paper towel or better yet, lint free towel. You can use layout dye to test fit the contact patch. Do not overuse silicone!
All good info. I think I’ll search for a used OE unit so I can rob the potentiometer and graft it to the 5 bolt unit of my tank.
Rob Mc makes one with large tubes. I don’t know how it functions though.
I don’t. I have an efi tank. I had a floatless sender custom made, but it’s still not as accurate as I’d like. Before efi I had a real mopar sender that I put a larger tube in and it was PERFECT! I sold it years ago…
My plan was to use the rheostat off a mopar one and adapt it to the universal 5...
Our arms are simply the best available. We offer 3 levels. All of these offer delrin bushings and the widest adjustment range possible. None of these require contorting yourself to reach eccentrics that have very little range. Our mid range and upper range arms also feature taller ball joints...
Looking for an alternator bracket with AC (if it makes a difference) for a '65 273. I believe this is the one with the hole in it for the dipstick.
PM me if you have anything. Thanks FABO!
I stay away from Moog when possible. Their stuff is crude and inconsistent at best. I handle these parts on a daily basis and speak from experience. The cheapest is what most want. The best always costs.
Almost new Powermaster dual groove, square back, 90 amp 1 wire alternator. Works perfectly.

Our SPC arms will get you there easily. Both our SPC 1.5 or the 2.0 have taller ball joints as well.

I'm confused. I read this from your earlier post - It is negative caster, I know how to correctly put offset bushings in, I did alignments for several years at a shop & understand suspension geometry. I’m not doing a pro touring lowered car, it’s not at all the ideal set-up, I’ve got fenderwell...
So you are setting your caster backwards to make clearance between your tire and the header?
Your statement about pro touring lowered cars is a bit ignorant, ya think? ALL of these cars benefit from more caster. Until recently, we just didn't have the parts to achieve modern numbers. An...
