I did a clutch and can't find any bolt torque specs for my Competition Plus 4 mechanism. The pdf from Holley said tighten securely....I do recall the bolts were tight. This is a B Plymouth btw. Thanks in advance.

The up front cost of the R motor is my only worries there. Looking at options that can be put together. I have a 383. 400 and 360mag at home. The thoughts of BBC rods (cheap and strong), a reground crank, etc feels more possible (not that it is in the grand scheme).

I run a completely untouched Super Victor. When you look down the plenum, the head ports line up about perfectly hence left it untouched. But I'm sure some roof blending and runner entry work would benefit it. Someday!!

Does engine have to be conventional piston? Newer rotary engines can put out some scary HP and ungodly RPM at equivalent combustion size. As well as reduced weights. I'm sure rules limits or penalizes use. But if you're building outside the box? Don't be afraid to think outside the box?

? I'm taking 361 B engine stock stroke, if he went custom piston sure he could add longer rods if he wished, what rpms is the OP going for ? Imagine it ain't crazy high since it's a budget build.

i can sell you a regulator that turns your original alt to a 1 wire. It simply attaches & plugs into the back of your original alt or sell you an original alt with the regulator installed & tested for operation neither option is very expensive Mike 614 491 8785
