What would you build if limited to 372ci - with boost as an option

Ok thanks for the clarification. I was picturing less advance timing so combustion would be after TDC and direct push down. Less cylinder pressure than a high compression NA engine. Maybe I was wrong, or just using the wrong words. Likely both.

I'm Cummins swapping a '74 Duster, thought I'd share the progress.

Are there ways to lighten it? Fabricated exhaust/intake come to mind. How else can the weight be shaved?

WTF is an AAR Center section? This 3rd member is a 742 case 1968 was the last year for that, AAR E bodies did not come on the scene till 1970. At that time it was 741 489 and Dana's offered. This Center has aftermarket auburn cone type sure grip with Red springs, the oem ones did not have...

What would you build if limited to 372ci - with boost as an option

Probably a port size for engine size thing, 383 has same bore as 426 and bigger than a 413.

What would you build if limited to 372ci - with boost as an option

Because the air is much more dense when on boost, the flame travels much faster through it. The retarded timing (compared to NA timing) ends up just being the right amount of timing. Try not to think of it as a late firing event. It just takes less time to make complete combustion so you don’t...

Any idea where I can find a spindle for my 1970 plymouth duster

I saw in another post on here that Dr. Diff made a kit that would work with an adapter. Anyone given these a try? Mopar Reproduction Disc Brake Knuckles for A/B/E Bodies

I'm Cummins swapping a '74 Duster, thought I'd share the progress.

I was thinking a 4 cyl, massive Turbo, and 2.70 gears may be fun. but from what i understand the 4cyl is just the six with 2 cut off and it is very shaky.

Hello friends. Have a 3rd member I'm about to sell. Was told it is an aar 3rd member. Didn't purchase it because of that. Had a posi and what I believe is a 3:55 that would work for this build. Well the build has changed and we're going dana. Don't want to fake news my ad if it's not an aar...

AMC/JEEP 242 (4.0) Flywheel bolt pattern draw diagram or other Mopar engine compatible

I only have HO 4.0L & 258ci flexplates, both measure ~2.695" I.D., they are a "stamped tang" style hub-hole....not the easiest to get a precise dimension on. The bolt pattern is on a 3.75" circle, the bolt holes do not appear to have any shifted away from the 60°-on-center, the bolt hole...

Small block magnum. Twin turbo blow through. Small block is what I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that you were talking about in your post.

I would make the security deposit at least two times the rent. That way you are not holding the bag when they don't pay the last month rent, saying the security deposit will cover it. Then you have nothing to cover any damages. Remember if the tenant stops paying rent, and you give them notice...

Finally heard from my homie in Ft Campbell Ky. Other than 6" of rain during the event they came out good. His place being on a hilltop aided that outcome. Cell service in that area is sketchy to begin with, so I had to be patient.
