    3.91s in my 340 now!

3.91 gears are a good balance of ratio and MPH, but the tire size will play into your 1/4 mile time. I run those gears with a 365 4spd and found that a 26" tire is a handy cap for mph. 3.55 gear ratio pulls a better mph by 3.5 mph but a 1/3 second slower et.

This thread has largely been focused on “tactical” things rather than “strategic “ things. If we were to back up a little bit and take a wider look, I would ask what your goals are? Short term income? Long term income? Capital appreciation? Exit strategy? If you are going to get what you...

I've decided too let my 67 FB go. This was the car that I was going to keep forever, but I just don’t have the time, money or will to complete the project. Right now, I’m driving it daily; it’s a pleasure. Inspection and registration in Texas good until 1/25. Clear Texas title in my name. My...

The B engine was temperamental with any single plane lacking convertor and gear thus the bad rap. The RB saw gains on the upper end and didn't loose much torque on the bottom with the Torker. The Holley street dominator and Edelbrock RPM are the best for use on the B engine, RB there are many...

I'm Cummins swapping a '74 Duster, thought I'd share the progress.

This car pictured here was a 1960 Chrysler 300F that a friend of mine owned (RIP). At its peak it had a 500CI Kieth Black 440 based aluminum engine. He outfitted it with a Lenco 5 speed transmission and many other mods to try and keep it alive. The rear end was the weak link. Before it was...

    3.91s in my 340 now!

When I daily drove my 71 Challenger, I would put the 3.91 in on Friday evening, and Sunday morning put the 3.23 in for the weekly commute. I made the brake lines a little long, so I could just slide the axles out slightly, so no need to bleed the brakes. Did it for a long time.

Mopar Muscle induction Extravaganza Dyno testing SBM intakes, comparison....

About 20 years ago, I was at a general car swap meet with very little Mopar stuff. I did find one guy with mostly Mopar stuff, and he had a SBM dual 4 barrel intake manifold. I don't remember the brand, but he was asking $125 for it and probably would have taken $100. I have been kicking myself...
