all the 440 parts fit on the 413 ,the heads don't flow as well as the 440s. as far as the crossrams, there's sure is the wow factor when the hood pops open.
but i don't think there's enough clearence over the fenders with the long rams .
i agree don't wast the money on ceramic .it's almost all gone from my schumacher headers which were brandnew when i sent them to hpc, i think they had a warranty but who wants to yank them out every time they rust up.im gonna wire brush them and shoot them with a spray bomb.
good luck
well i have a 413 30 over ported with m1 singleplane intake with a eddy 750 3200 10inch stall tci converter and and right now 323 gears, its boggy i know it needs more gear for what i have,
thanks
whats the best gear for the 509 cam 391 or 410 ? or is there that much of a differance between the two gears for this cam? this is a sreet car and im not really worried about mpg :-D
thanks.
i quit 10 years ago ,used the patch, only got to the second stage couldn't stand having the thing on.
good luck its a hard quit, don't be disapointed if you fall once or twice.
from what i remember the article said the spindle doesn't fit in the hole of the amc drum as far as the mopar one .you can try it ,just return the drums if they don't fit.or try the junkyard.
the amc 9 inch drums won't work. they fit but not safely.not enough nut on the spindle. i tried to find the link that had been written on it on autohobbydigest but its not there any more.
if somebody can get them to work, i'd go that route myself.
