    just wanted to share.... to maintain the 1.5 degree downward engine / transmission angle, you might want to add a 12-1/2" section aft ot the transmission crossmember for the GV to reside. Some do, some don't. an option to consider.....to engage / disengage the GV, a simple toggle on the front...

    It is a great truck and I think he got a hell of a deal, plus it is a diesel. The truck is solid, with no rust, and the interior looks great. I have owned Ford diesel trucks forever and love them. The 7.3 is bulletproof and easy to work on. Congrats again, you did well. :thumbsup:

    Fifty years ago, when my 65 Barracuda reached 100,000 miles or so, I had to learn mechanical skills because I got tired of my car running worse after service than when I took it in. I had to wean myself from my Dad's advice to "let the professionals work on it." I've made my share of mistakes...

    Street Dominator with a tuned Thermoquad is by far the most off idle responsive, best overall set up ever for me An earlier Quadrajet, made by Carter, highly tuned wasn't far behind

    Torker II didn't appear until '80's bro....& more resembled a Holley Street Dominator, which resembled a slightly lower Offy Port-O-Sonic, which is a bit lower than a Holley Strip Dominator......
