    Anybody use clutch tamer

Got er out. Welded to pressure plate side. Fly wheel is perfect still. I thought the organic side would be wasted? Not sure what direction to go. I feel that the duel will take the heat but will be over clutched. The adjustable one uses a sintered iron disk which is hard on the street from what...

Torsion Bar Upgrade for '65 Barracuda Formula S

you won't be disappointed no matter the direction you take. the KYB's will ride rough, know that going in, the big 1.03's will exacerbate this. but you might find the ride acceptable, different people have different thresholds for things of that nature. 100% the stock bar back in. another...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yep, if you boys had real trucks, you know the one with a RAM logo you would likely be running Bully Dog tuner. Hah! On serious note @WV64Signet selecting a tuner is actually kind of a big deal. The one you for sure don’t want is any tuner that claims to do all brands. Tuners are fundamentally...

It’s all back together, but… Leaking as bad or worse as before. Blah. At least the headlight relays work.

Progression Ignition's programable distibutor initial review.

Were you looking at the plugs?? If so, did they show any signs of distress? Getting cruise timing correct is not that easy, even if you are doing it digitally. In my experience as power goes up you need less timing at low loads than you would will less power. I guess saying it another way a...

    Tf727 rebuild

Well, need alittle more advice on my tf 727 rebuild! Barracuda basic low power 318 weekend street driving here. Gone through with all new stuff but the copper bushings! Listening to two different old timers, and a well known YouTube Mopar guy (Uncle something) they are saying on the copper...

Thank you for the heads up @Dartnut , @TX9Duster , @memike , @73Charger318 - I appreciate it. I see the rule FABO has and did my best to keep in line with it by posting the current highest bid - as mentioned above by @73Charger318 per the auction rules at Bring a Trailer I cannot post an asking...

    Tune up questions

Did some more testing. Runs flawlessly for the first 30-45 mins, including reving to 6000+ rpm. After about 45, starts to random miss at idle. After 1-1.5 hours it will not idle and does the backfire thing. Will drive it for an hour and then swap out parts and report back.

    Right bank smoking

Gentleman (and possibly some ladies) right side exhaust is huffing some blue smoke. Doesn't really start until it gets warm. Can somebody give me some input and how to pretest to figure out if it's rings or valves before I take it apart? There's also a chance it's from the valley because I had...

Torsion Bar Upgrade for '65 Barracuda Formula S

I really appreciate the torsion bar feedback. To add perspective, (I'm in a reflective mood so skip to the bottom if easily bored) allow me to share a little bit of history of this car and how I came to own it. In April 2002, I found it sitting in an industrial park in Newark California, with...

My set from Clifford for my 1974 225 bolted right on. No issues at all. Everything was perfect- nice thick flanges. I used a Rem-flex gasket. They don't hang to low.

In general headers are one of the better products. I have a set bought used, that has the collector welded on somewhat crooked. But I had to modify the headers, anyway for a 170, so not a big deal. I would contact Larry, and make sure he has them ready to ship, before paying for them. Then...

    Kevko oil pans

Does anyone have experience with Kevko oil pans. I'm still working on a 360 for my buddies Scamp. I need an oil pan, as his is a little messed up. I came across one on Marketplace that's for a 360 and looks pretty nice. The guy had it on a motor, but never in a car. Just wondering if any of you...
