I will be replacing it with new, but wondered if i needed to increase the gauge of the high amp wires. Sounds like not if i go new. I am curious about the new harnesses as i know there are differences between the various models and options. I dont need any AC wiring and have manual trans so...
I'm ashamed to admit that I want it, but it's a soft spot. I had a 225/4-speed base Aspen 30 years ago.
The shame is tempered by the fact it's a "final year" for both the 360HP and the F-body.
Not a lot to update at this point but I’ll let you know where I’m at currently. I have a complete mock up of the engine, trans, and McLeod dual disk clutch and all measurements have been taken. Surprisingly the bell housing bolted on with the factory dowels and measured within spec. That was...
Great info. I did check, the Terminator X does work with stock ignition as is, so no problem there. 100% will go with a voltmeter. I was looking at those Intellitronix direct replacement gauge clusters as a replacement as I like the idea of digital gauges. I have read some negative things about...
The 67 - 72? Dart dash does not have much room behind the oil light (red)
The other gauges have much more room.(blue)
Not saying it can't be done but you might need to open up the back of the cluster housing.
Many times, it takes going to lot of "doctors" before you find the one that has to ability to order the correct tests to find your issue. Some just run up the tab. Just the way it is, sometimes.
If I showed that to my wife she’d hit the floor laughing so hard she’d be crying. After wiping the tears of laughter she would say something like “Good luck with that, you know where the Kraft dinner and wieners are and the vacuum is in the closet
I forgot all about these!

My grandparents lived on the same block, and even as a kid, when they were taller than me, I thought these were pretty cool...
Thanks. The main goal of me asking the question is to help determine the cam profile that will impact the rest of the build. A few cam companies I spoke to were thinking for solid flat-tappet in the .535"/255° @ .050" area running at 7,200 RPM. The largest that one suggested is .600"/260° to...
I'm attempting to stay away from a theoretical debate about whether an LD340 and 750 cfm 4150 will physically make power at 8K RPM and, instead, am trying to get real-world feedback on the RPM ranges people have practically used with an LD340 on a race 360. To this goal, I'm not following your...
I'm sure I won't be much more than around 430 hp with my 5.7. I do understand there are better transmissions out there but for ease of use/availability/no floor mods necessary is why I'm going with the a833OD. The 4 speed is only going to cost me $150 so can't complain about that! That being...
