    Radio Button Removal

I want to remove the radio pushbuttons on my 71 vintage AM radio. They are chrome plates and in good shape, I'd like to remove them to polish them up. Does anyone know how to remove them without destroying everything around them? Thanks I'm advance! Jim

    Damn! Damn! Damn!

Do like us old guys do Jim...this kind of goes back to the rotary phone video and the two young kids staring at it like a cow would to a new gate. Use a camera. Phones still work great bolted to the wall in your house. LOL

Sorry to hear! My phone was run over by a big truck earlier this year, so I feel your pain. Might I suggest using cloud-based storage in the future, so you don't lose pictures or files? It also frees up storage on your phone, because you can delete the images from your phone but keep them...

    Which exhaust gaskets?

If the manifolds are in good shape, not all rusted and pitted up on the mating surfaces; put a straightedge on them and make sure they're true. If not, have them trued up and run 'em. The factory didn't use manifold gaskets and if the manifolds are still in good shape, neither do I. Never an...

NOT MINE!!!! But...it does have four doors and the price is right!!!!

This is almost exactly what I'd hoped to find for my daughter 15 years ago. Oh, she'd have hated it--until she realized she could fit her eight closest friends in it, plus how distinctive it is. Nobody else she knew would've had anything like it. She hardly remembers her first car; I...

I don't know if they are or aren't yet. Yet another thing I'll learn when I'm out at the barn doing this project.

That’s it! Bomber stripper… sell whatever off of it isn’t needed to drive in it and let it eat. Looks like it’s been used for towing duty. Is that a trailer brake controller on the drivers side inner fender? Also, do you think the dual pot master was added on or was it possible it was a factory...

    Which exhaust gaskets?

I would go with the Victor-Reinz, simply because they're 1-piece with slots so you can hang them on the end studs before you start installing the manifolds. The Mahle gaskets get separated into pieces like the Fel-Pro. I can't speak for others, but I'll pay extra to avoid frustration in the...
