A real build not nickle and dime wannabe junk

That how I interpreted it. But then, I can't be insulted in this manner. Junk is purdy much all I've ever worked with, with a few exceptions.

    BIG SHOUT OUT...

Agreed. Mike spent time on the phone with me earlier this year to discuss rocker geometry and it was a great conversation for me. He didnt have to spend so much time talking to me!

Not Mine Doesn't get much better- 70 Duster for 5K or best, not mine

Well, that explains a lot... I was gonna say, your doesn't get much better & mine are worlds apart.... But yeah, if it were the second one I'd be on that in a heartbeat....

I Need a template for the placement of the two holes under a dual snorkel scoop..

Rather than hole saws see if a local electrician has punches the size you want. They will make a super clean hole

First post - '65 Dart A833 swap questions - slip yoke, U joint, shifter location

`65 is the changeover year to the slip yoke. Maybe it did not get done on all models??? Although this is news to me.

Thinking of hanging my shingle out again. Thoughts? Ideals?

Too funny! I was hanging around a Mobil gas station with the neighbor kid at age 8. The owner who dated my neighbors mom would let us pump gas and clean the shop up. He had a small block Chevelle and his mechanic had a big block 4spd 57 panel wagon. They used to do burnouts in front of the...

which springs for a purple shaft cam

I THINK the answer used to be the standard hemi springs...933's iirc. Let me find the cam page... See this link.... https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/2619878/mopar-performance-p3690933.html I dont know what the modern equivalent is

Thinking of hanging my shingle out again. Thoughts? Ideals?

I kind of fell into it myself. Went to work at a Sunoco gas station at age 12 just to make some money. And wouldn't you know it they were all racers.

Want to get a new power brake booster, 1973 Duster.

That power brake booster exchange place wants $350-$400 to rebuild it. I know good brakes are important, but........ Maybe I can rebuild it myself, how hard can it be? Are there any brand identifying marks on the booster anywhere?

Thinking of hanging my shingle out again. Thoughts? Ideals?

I've been wrenching on cars since my 1st car at age 15. I'm seriously tired of it. That was my reason years ago to get into inspections. I worked for a large body shop for a few years in the early 2000s and learned much about how to look at wrecked and previously wrecked vehicles. It's a fun...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wifes 09 Journey getting lights for ABS, ESP, Traction… Clears on restart. Garage said ABS module bad - very expensive and they won’t be able to do the job. (They are mainly a tires and brakes shop.) Referred us to another place that can supposedly test better to be certain and would do the...

Not Mine Doesn't get much better- 70 Duster for 5K or best, not mine

You are correct. It's just I see people buy rusted up stuff all the time and then ask me to fix it. I always tell someone to start with a rust free body at least the floor, frame and quarters. Doors and fenders are easy.

    Compression Ratio and Boost Query

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. Except that you don’t have room for a big air to air or water intercooler. There’s always room if you’re not opposed to hacking sheetmetal.
