    overcharging?

    ok me again, I'll try it this way. is 16-17 volts at the battery too much. I'm having problems burnin' voltage regulators for some reason. I got a good ground and also done away with the ballast resistor as I am running an msd .

    I have a '72 duster . it was a /6 , it is now a 360 w/904 . I have added an msd box. Now my problem, before I added the msd it was blowing the voltage regulator. With the regulator hooked up it shows 17 volts at the battery. when I unplug the regulator it shows 12 volts with my handheld...

    alternator tests good,but no charge

    I replaced the /6 in my '72 Duster with a 360 and now I can't get any charge from the alternator.I even tried a second alternator and nothing, So I took both to an electrical shop and they both tested good. I know I am hooking it up right but it doesn't show a charge at the gauge or at the...
