    71 Duster 360 turbo build

Hy-gard fluid made a decent difference dropping my shift points around 300rpm. Between that and the new front servo my shifts are looking much better in the data logs. Scheduled a dyno tune Friday morning. Not concerned with numbers, but I’m going to push it hard. It’s either going to stay...

    Figured id share my garbage..

I knew it was getting tired and it was basically self inflicted at this point so I can’t be upset by it. Definitely going to be peace of mind having better parts in it.

Deciding on replacement intake (318, details in post)

1st what are you trying to get out of the 318, power and rpm wise ? A 318 just gonna need more rpm and gearing than a similarly built 360 Eg. 400 hp is around 5400 rpms for a 360 and 6000 rpms for a 318.

If you are selling these, post a picture with an ad in the for sale forum. Hopefully they don't have tires on them so a measurement can be seen clearly.

I went at 10am. Nobody there, Easy in and out. Met an older gent, was driving a 64 Falcon Convertible V8 5spd. Talked with him for a while and found out he has a body and paint shop at his house. Has restored many cars. Great to know I have another choice for body and paint...

Re: fabbed part. Yes, I believe it’s coming to that, I’m thinking a Delran bushing machined to fit the support bracket & simply a rubber “skirt” on the firewall to keep the bad fumes and evil things out. Thank you for the nice reply☺️

    13/14 inch SBP Wheels

I can't find a size or part #, but, measuring them I feel they are 5.5 wide. I'm going to figure the 13" wheel to have no value and use it as a base for my "portable" bench grinder stand. Currently it's mounted to my "bench" and is taking up space, not to mention that it throws debris everywhere...

Need recommendation for a Carb for better MPG!

My two cents. I had a 69 340 in my 72 van and used all the 72 attached items to make the motor look stock. You could not see the timing marks because they were hidden under the later year items. I always timed by ear and it ran great for 40 years. When ever I had to remove the disturber, I would...

    Congrats to member Scampin

That car is so quick off the line! No drama, just goes. The 'Vettes are moving off the line too but they are on a different level. Hoping a Chrysler product will be competitive enough to knock them down a rung next year. Saw the green RR at LVD two weeks ago, pretty impressive for what it...
