    [SOLD] 1972 Dart Swinger

1972 Dodge Dart - located in Livermore, CA My Dart was hit in the right front corner. It would make a good race car, or it could be fixed with a donor front clip. Aside from what you can see, the right front frame rail is pushed in a bit, probably 1/4-1/2". Insurance estimated 8 hours of shop...

[SOLD] '72 Dart front clip - please read

Thanks! I think both sides of the car have fiberglass fender extensions. I'm not sure if that's original or not. I will check and get back to everyone. Hopefully the adjuster can get out to look at the car this week.

[SOLD] '72 Dart front clip - please read

Hi all, I need some help with pricing parts for the repair of my '72 Dart. I'm researching both used OEM and new parts. About a week ago, an old lady ran a red light and did this to my Dart: Pricing these components will help me negotiate with my insurance company. Any help is...

[SOLD] Rebuilt '72 brake booster for Bendix disc brakes

I took the booster off my '72 Dart. It has been rebuilt by The Ram Man and I have receipts. According to him, it was "show quality," even though I just asked for basic re-plating. It's never been remounted. I decided to go with manual brakes. I have the fender brace for it (not pictured). I...

[SOLD] '71 Demon passenger side front fender

I picked up this very nice original fender from a '71 Demon at a swap meet. I ended up not using it. It has the headlight hardware attached. It's large and I don't want to ship it, but it's cheap if you want to pick it up. Located in Tracy, CA (95376). Asking $100. Feel free to PM with...

    '72 Dart Headliner

Thanks! I think the replacements are ABS plastic. The one that came out of the car is cardboard or foam backed vinyl or something... it's in storage and I don't remember what it was exactly. I'm curious if anyone has dealt with this and knows for sure as it's quite expensive to get and I...

    '72 Dart Headliner

Hi, I have a late production '72 Dart (7/72) that has some '73+ stuff in it. As best I can tell, it was not molested at any point. However, it has a beaten down cardboard headliner in it- '73+ style. I believe it to be original as what was behind it looked original. I am ready to put a...

How to remove steering wheel in a 72 Dart?

Where are the clips located? It feels like the cover pivots a bit at the division on each spoke- are they under there? Removing the wheel is easy enough once that cover is off- but I'd rather not harm the cover if possible. Thanks for the help.

How to remove steering wheel in a 72 Dart?

I attached some pictures of my wheel. I believe it is the original. My guess is the cover snaps on somehow. I can't find any information in my manuals.

How to remove steering wheel in a 72 Dart?

So, I'm stuck removing a steering wheel too. '72 Dart as well. I assume the cover (horn button thingy) has to come off first and then it's a nut like every other steering column I've ever dealt with. But how they heck do you get that horn cover off? No nuts for the cover, no obvious clips or...

    New Dart - opinions wanted

The old motor is out. I picked up a supposedly good motor to either use as a core or temporarily put in the car. The motor that was in the car is the original motor and it seems to have never been opened up. I haven't broken the head loose to see what's up with #1 since I will probably...

    New Dart - opinions wanted

Thanks again- I've been out looking at other cars, either to replace this one or as a body donor... and the results have not been good. It seems more and more that I got a good deal and a reasonable starting point with this car. One in particular- a '67 Dart 270- was billed as "rust free" and...

    New Dart - opinions wanted

Thanks- I'll take all that into consideration as I move forward. I really wish the car were driveable enough to get around to the local body shops for opinions!

    New Dart - opinions wanted

Hello all, This is my first post here- I've been a B-body guy for several years. I've been looking for an A-body to use as a daily driver for a while. I picked up this Dart for pretty low price knowing it was rough. I'd like some opinions from those in the know as to whether I should keep the...
