Runs just fine, a little lumpy, but that may be a result of a sticky choke linkage from choke motor to choke flap, runs fine when I get the temp right (no thermostat at the moment). Thanks for the guide, I need to change valve cover gaskets anyway...

It does run like a donkey on idle, but not always, I also suspect the choke to be unstable...

It does smell like engine oil, and its moist, wipes off easily and not dry, unlike in the right of the picture where its dry and sooty. But I do second that of carb adjustment, previous owner ran it rich enough cause eye burning behind the wheel...
