1968 Dodge Dart GT Sleeping Beauty?

When I was scouring the local wrecking yard for horns for Dart #2 I discovered several different mounts and a couple different manufacturers. So it is entirely posable that in 68 they were different than in 67

2 Colorado titles Both 67 darts. One from 2017 the other from 2023 2017 2023 When I go get smog checks (yep required every year in my part of Colorado, to have standard plates vs collector plates.) I always give them the actual milage so I have a legal-ish record.

1968 Dodge Dart GT Sleeping Beauty?

In the photo post 264, the lower horn seems at a odd angle. Both of my horns openings are basically parallel to each other. The bottom one in your photo looks like it needs to be rotated 20 deg or so

Where does the Fuel Gauge sending Unit get it's Ground so that the Fuel Gage Works.

Also if your tank has mounting straps that do not have any insulation between the tank and the strap that will ground the tank. Adding a dedicated ground from the tank to the body can't hurt. The full path is: Sender Lock ring Gas tank Strap Body With the strap at Murray noted: Sender...

NC title says VOID VOID for ODO and Title Brands

Many titles will indicate in some fashion that the milage is no longer valid. Since our cars only go up to 99,999.0 miles there is no way to document the actual milage.

    fuel tank sender wire windings

It is a resistance wire, nichrome? Or the like. It also does not take solder. If you still have your OEM sender you will be better off having it rebuilt then using an aftermarket.

USPS has a upcharge for non rectangular packaging yet they have a triangular box they give away, go figure! as silly as it seems overwrapping a tube with cardboard to make it rectangular is the way to go.

    [WANTED] GT trim

Make sure the box is rigid, plastic drain tubing works well. I had a guy from CA ship me some 67 dart rocker trim. He strapped it to a 1x4 and padded the heck out of the outside. When the US PO delivered it there was a 30deg bend in the board and trim 2 feet from one end. Like someone set it...

Seeking advice on how to extract broken lug bolts

Help with a broken bolt drilling procedure. IF you have a few threads accessable in the hole. Find a bolt with the same thread size, drill a hole down the center from the thread end. Cut the bolt so you have a threaded hollow tube. Screw the tube into the hole. That way you have a centering...

    Brake Drum Hub Assembly Mystery

All front drums would be swedged on from the factory. As to why, as stated, it makes them a unit rather than separate pieces easier to assemble. Might also get balanced as a unit and that keeps it together for the future. Requires you to pull the hub and inspect and hopefully clean and re-lube...

Diff oil out the vent, why?

There are only a hand full of reasons for oil leakage at the breather. No particular order Too much oil Too light of an oil? Slinging from the ring gear No sealant on the threads. MAYBE... If it is clogged and the differential builds pressure from heat and then valve opens and a woosh of oil...

Diff oil out the vent, why?

My understanding is the hump vent tends to "leak" from slung oil, so they moved it to above the axle on the tube. Mine is a hump style and an old used breather but I have not had any issues. 85w-90 Amsoil gear lube. 3:23 gears. I wonder if the ratio increases the slinging effect.
