Ports aren't filled, just the passage to heat the intake manifold. They have plastic steel in them, could drill a small hole then knock the rest out with a small chicle. If you want to loose HP and heat the intake.

No they haven't but they are clean and if they were cracked it would be visible. The small block heads did not have a cracking problem until the later 70's whey they started making things lighter for emissions . I haven't seen early heads with cracks. Thanks for looking.
