This is a new unused Holley Electric choke that came with a new carb I bought but never used. $40 plus shipping.

First time I've had a working Rim Blow in 30 years!!! The horn contact was broken so replaced the turn signal switch and found a matching lower column cover. Big thanks to Dave Tays (woodgrainwheels.com) for replacing the Rim Blow switch and giving me some guidance on the process.

yep, took a nice long drive. Still need to do some fine tuning on the carb, choke, and kick down but I’m definitely at a good baseline now. so in summary. New tank, new sending unit, new carb, new fuel pump, new fuel filters. About $550 for everything.

SUCCESS!!!! So hooked up a longer piece of hose to the return line and did a lil suck and blow on the line. I could see the fluid going up and down in the resevoir. Once I felt like there was no air in the lines, I hooked everything back up and went for a drive. Still no power steering...

Oh I'm clearly insane but that's beside the point. New tank and sending unit are working great. The Spectra tank fit beautifully and the sending unit sealed just with with the Spectra locking nut and a lil gasket dressing for good measure. On the to the next project!! I will save the old...

So the bolt that holds the resevoir on is part of the relief valve??? I thouht it was just a blind bolt hole with a seal around it????

I did it with engine off and with engine idling. very lil foam or bubbles. On the plus side... resevoir doesn't leak anymore

Did that... cycled steering 30-40 times with front wheels up.
