    Shipping Sold Vehicle to Europe?

Someone from England is considering making a bid to purchase my Valiant. I wonder how much he/she would have to pay to ship it there from California. Anyone have experience with the cost of such an arrangement? Thank you, just curious for now (shipping responsibility of the buyer).

Anyone Using Starting Line Enhancer on A-Body?

Hello all, I'm curious if any A-body bracket racers on here are using starting line enhancers. I'd like to see how you modified your accelerator pedal, throttle linkage (morse cable?) and throttle linkage bracket/solenoid mounting on the engine intake. Most of what I have seen online is...

AJE Tubular Coil Over Front Suspension

Yeah but doing what kind and how much driving? Have you actually measured the Ackerman or toe change? The way most people use these cars it would be pretty easy not to notice fairly significant bump steer and Ackerman issues.

    A-body 8-3/4 drums

I’m not above admitting I’m wrong. Too dark to look under both 69s I have, maybe tomorrow, both are 9” 7-1/4s. If only 3 years I imagine they’re hard to find.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT = Moog Ball Joints

I've got new upper and lower ball joints that I purchased on eBay back in 2010 in a front end rebuild kit. Don't know the brand, but they seem to be very good quality. The balls are tight, and I see no plastic anywhere on the joint when I move the ball. Is there a way to determine if they are...

    318 Build? Help!

I don’t mean to poop in your cheerios but that’s a 260-280hp combo at best. And unless you are very good (read: precise) at setting up the valvetrain there’s no way it’s going to spin “7000+”, and there’d be no reason to spin it that high anyway because with a 216@050 cam on 318 inches it’ll be...

Its really nice to have a vise outside the shop. Heating things seem so much safer too. Doesn't stink up the shop.

I was thinking that, but the "leave" part is not very thick even if I remove it, I was just worried it may weaken the torsion bar crossmember down below.

I don't think it is supposed to be above that leave part. Actually I don't think that leave part is supposed to be there at all.

Very cool. I have the numbers matching block in mine, but not the transmission. Here is the thread I started years ago about Duster 360 4 speed cars. Post some info and pictures there and I will add you to the tally. How many CURRENT owners of real '74 360 Duster 4 speed cars on here?

Parts! Bend over AND smile! short rant!

Don't buy at the beach because they get hit a lot with hurricanes, in Florida an hour's drive inland is good but it's not flat terrain in NC which is why western NC faired so badly with that hurricane this year.

    318 Build? Help!

Smaller mains? The main bearings in a 360 are bigger in diameter than the 273,318 and the 340. Melted pistons sounds like a serious detonation problem.

Wow, I worked today, getting the transmission in was a bit of a chore. I did it mainly to spy the transmission linkage, the shifter hump to identify location before welding in place. Reverse, 1/2 clear, but 3/4th do not clear the floor board. Can the rods be bent to make clearance? The middle...

    904 Zbar bushing?

Before you go to epay and spend the $$$ they want for them, go to a couple of local transmission shops and see if they might have them. Before I retired, I should have bought a bunch of these and the shift cable end grommets. Great profit margin in them for sure selling them on epay.
