I think these cars are just incredible. Just doing what they do through exhaust manifolds, especially the SB A body manifolds has got to be a huge cork.

My GF had all those same issues, couldn't eat, sick, extreme pain. Had her gallbladder out and most went away. Food still causes issue often, but so very much better.

Bummer... I'd be leaning towards a 5.2/5.9 Magnum swap in that case though. 5.9L Magnum with a reground cam, 4-bbl intake+carb and headers would make well over 300 HP and it is very possible to find high-mileage Magnums that don't require a rebuild. Stock 5.9L flex plate has external balance...

Just nothing abrupt, everything smooth. I have come to realize as crazy as it sounds. Have to start from the beginning of the launch. Any issue gets compounded as you go. My 1-2 shift is rarely an issue, if I spin at the hit, it will spin at the 1-2. because of lost momentum.
