intake/exhaust mounting, what am I missing?

Yeah, I was wondering about that nut i have on there, at least it's easy to get to if it's not correct. As for the conical washer~ the engineers back then came up with the darndest ideas! lol

intake/exhaust mounting, what am I missing?

Hi Dne Yes, I know this subtility for the old (with 3 conical washers) and the newer manifold (with only one)., but I don't know what these washers look like. Now on your picture I see the conical washer. Thank you. But I think that you don't use the correct nut. There, I think that you must use...

Guys, Trying to get some basic HVAC stuff fixed and the PO did not leave me the vacuum actuator for the water valve. Where can I find one? Also, what does it look like for a 73 Duster Slant 6? My manual has a diagram but its not clear. Anyone got a close-up pic or a reliable source for one...

    Rocker arm differences?

Funny how one doesn't notice things. I was just out there and looked at the rockers and noticed there are differences between the rockers. Is there an Intake rocker and exhaust rocker? Do I need to disassemble the rocker assembly and put in the correct order? :thankyou:

    17" Magnum 500's

Notice I said suspension components too? Go back and read what I actually said. If you run the same wheel rate and cheap shocks with your 17’s as you did with your 14’s you get a crappy ride because yes, you’ve changed how those tires grip the road and how much shock absorbing capacity the...

intake/exhaust mounting, what am I missing?

"Note that"later" SL6 engines came with only one round conical washer in the top center position. I'm almost afraid to say anything, but the conical washer goes directly in the middle on the intake manifold.

intake/exhaust mounting, what am I missing?

I plan to make the same job than Dne007 but I have some interrogations about this tricky exhaust/intake manifolds installation. I have the two brass washers and the 8 triangular ones but what do the three conical washers look like? :thankyou: François

Pix would help a whole bunch, as parts mentioned are pretty standard throughout Mopar. You may have "torched" too much.
