On a Formula S 10 in. brake shoes would the brake shoes be smooth or have an indention down the center. The drum has a raised place in the center that is equally centered. The parts store said the drums should be turned smooth and the shoes should be smooth. If these shoes are worn like this...

What do I need to clean the brake parts? I'm not sure if I have a wheel seal leaking or if it was from a leaking wheel cylinder but it sure needs a good cleaning before I put it back together. Thanks

I am putting the new suspension parts together this weekend. I have repaced the wheel bearings, but am not sure about adjusting the front brakes. This is a 65 Barracuda Formula S with stock brakes. I would like to go with disk brakes, but thats not in the budget for now. Thanks for your help.
