    Horn issue!

Thanks everyone for the help! Turns out all I did was miss a small spacer that spectated the hub about a quarter inch from the colum so the plate kept ground and honking the horn! It’s all sorted and the new wheel feels 1000% better and gives me more of the “street strip” feel I’m going for

    Horn issue!

I’ve installed a new steering wheel which didn’t come with a horn button and I have an mini event tomorrow I’d like to go to but I have an issue where the horn is grounding somewhere in my steering hub but I don’t have time to fix it! Is it possible I can just unplug the horn? If so, where can I...

    Trouble starting in park.

Hello all, I’ve ironed out all the issues in my 74 dart except for one that I have yet to put my finger on. Sometimes when I attempt to start the car nothing happens, if I put it in neutral that will fix my issue and the car will start but sometimes I have to put the car in reverse, hold the key...

    275/60/15 is a perfect fit

Here’s my follow up to my previous posts about tire sizing and clearance posted on Jan 4th. Upon further inspection my car already had 20 mm spacers in the rear which worked perfect for a 15x8 with 4.5” backspace. It’s a tight fit with the mickey Thompson et streets 275/60/15 but shouldn’t rub...

    help with lowering blocks

Thanks for the info! I don't think I would go anything over 1" nor do I think I will even have the room to do haha. any recommendations on where to buy from? I may also need a set of 5-10mm spacers if you have any you could recommend

    help with lowering blocks

Just purchased my first set of big boy tires for my 74 dart sport. looking at them up close theyre huge lol so if i end up having a bit of room to spare id love to slap some lowering blocks on it to even out the car a little. I have no idea which blocks to buy or which ones most a-body guys use...

    9in drum brakes

probably cost effective but speaking from experience, do disk up front. drums on all four corners may feel sloppy. plus its easier to do burnouts with front disks;)

    Trunk chatter

Hello all, wondering if someone has had this issue and knows how to fix it. When driving my 74 dart the trunk makes an awful chatter going over bumps. We’ve narrowed it down to possibly the inner trunk lid skin is tapping the top of the trunk lid. Is that a possibility? I’ve checked the latch to...

    Headlight recommendations

Hello all, Ive been stockpiling parts over winter this year for my 74 dart sport for a nice come back in spring! I’ve purchased some interior and engine bling bits and pieces so far and am looking for headlight recommendations. Ive purchased meaty rear tires with aggressive wheels and I’d like...

    Help wanted with broken ac

I think when ur comes out of storage that’s what I’ll do. Seems like it might be a bit out of my grasp of experience and I’d rather it get done right since it’s not really much of a project but more of a driving show ready car. Thanks for being nice!:)

    Help wanted with broken ac

Sorry for lack of context/info and knowledge haha, I’m 18 and this is my first “project” car. I assumed the ac would work the same as my daily driver but after reading other comments I now realize that it’s probably a different concept. I had bought a recharge kit and put a gauge that it came...

I bought one of those recharge kits and when I put the gauge on it read full so I kinda ruled that out, could it be just old age?

    Help wanted with broken ac

I have a 74 dart sport with a 360. Ac does not work and I don’t know why, mixed with the vinyl seat it can be one hell of a sauna in there during the summer. With ac turned to max the clutch seems to grab then stop every 5 seconds or so, turns about half a rotation then stops again. Anyone have...

need help purchasing street radials for my 74 dart sport

I ended up purchasing the 15x8 with 4.5 backspace for rear and 15x7 with 4 backspacing for front, I figured that it’ll be a safe combo with room for error and can easily be solved with some spacers if needed. I think tonight I’m gonna order the 255/60/15 for the rear and the 215/60/15 for the...
