If/when, I will probably go the lifetime Mevotech. I priced them out from dealership and they are pricey and with only 2-3 yr warranty.

T-45 will have a Ford Modular Engine Bolt pattern and is built into the case. So you would need to mill it off and find another way to adapt it. They were weak and superseded by the TR-3550 (not to be confused with Tremec T-3550 aka TKO, TKO500, and TKO600) and again integrated Mod Bolt Pattern...

Could have been operator error doing the cam, hard to say. Once I found out it was a 525 lift with stock everything I swapped the cam out for something a bit smaller. Cliff Ramsdell

No engine expert here, but I would do(and have) a leakdown next. They are done with head on. Chk boobtube out to make a LD tester. Basically uses same pieces as a compression tester in a different configuration. Good luck!

Mileage on my truck is 138,000. I haven`t good kuck with aftermarket parts in the past. So usually I get OEM if I can.

What kind of fuel do you use ? The reason I ask is that buildup on the back side of valves can cause the same thing . It will ever so slightly cause the valve to leak . It will eventually burn a valve if left long enough . Tommy
