I'm planning on swapping my slant six for a 318 on my 63 dart gt w/push button auto. Can I drop in the 318 and use my original 727 or should I upgrade to a 904 . Any suggestions or recomendation would greatly be appreciated

Hi have a 63 dart gt (3.7L slant 6) automatic A904 tranny and want to drop in v-8 without any mods. Does anyone know if I can drop in maybe a 318? any suggestions..... Thank you
