Whats a nice looking bucket seat

There not too hard to find. It was about 6 years ago but i think I paid about 120 for both. The are black vinyl manual seats from a 3 series. My interior is black so they blended right in without looking too "modern". The only issue (along with most bucket swaps in A bodies) was massaging the...

Whats a nice looking bucket seat

90's BMW. Without the headrest, they almost look stock in my 67' Dart

    anyone play bass guitar?

Carvin has great stuff (I use their necks for my builds). Guitar fetish has decent parts at good prices too.

    I finally found it!! lol

I thought about doing that too but the differences in the bumper size/shape plus no valence in the rear kinda killed it for me. Its still a nice looking combo though.

    lower control arm bushings

I emailed Erhenberg over at Mopar Action a few years ago asking the same question. He said he uses the standard rubber bushing instead of the poly in the LCA for that same reason just as a precaution.

    CA sliding into the ocean?

My city's in the news. That small stretch of road had been pretty stable for a long time. Head north a mile, to Portuguese Bend (Near Trump's Golf course), and you can almost see the road move.

anyone have a junkyard bucket swap recipe?

I used 90's bmw manual seats like these in my 67 Dart (without the headrest they almost look like they belong there). The main issues was those weird bench seat humps. They really limit your seat choices. I cut them out welded some flat sheet to mount them. Its not a big deal to me since can i...

    904 torque converter dont fit..?

When I did this a few years ago, I looked for an adapter torque converter but all I was able to find was an adapter ring. it adapts a later engine to an early trans. good luck.

    904 torque converter dont fit..?

Its a pain but you can always swap the front pump on your trans to an earlier one. This will allow you to use the torque converter that will mate with your engine (had to do that on a later 904 so i could adapt it to my early 273).

5 volt or 6 volt dash regulator for my 67 fish car.

Used a 7805 on 67' Dart, got about 4.97V. So far so good.

    Bucket Seats

The mounting holes from the bench aren't used I think. When you look at your floor you'll see the 8 factory "dimples" on the flat areas to mount the seats. you'll know when you see them. Just drill them out and buy or make some reinforcement plates for the holes and your done. Good luck.

    autozone steering box

Couplers are the same. I would swap over to the 73' and up box and linkage. Easier to find and cheaper to get parts for. I did that on my 67' but mainly to get rid of the goofy 67' only idler arm.

mancini tube upper control arm failure....

I have to disagree. IMO, having a gusset there would help limit the torsional stresses at the joint cup even if the weld was properly done. For others like me that are shopping for arms, IMO, should think twice about that design. The owner is lucky, it could have been a lot worse. I hope that...

mancini tube upper control arm failure....

Wow! I stumbled on this site while shopping for control arms for my Dart, good thing too. Judging by the picture on the CAP website, I was shocked at how sloppy the welds looked on their lowers. Giving CAP the benefit of the doubt concerning their welds (not seeing it in person), there is...
