    Slapstick mechanism pics request

    I'm looking for some information on how the slapstick mechanism works. I know the theory behind it, just looking for some detailed pics of the mechanism / gate plates.     Vertical gate shifter mod?

    Has anyone ever modded a vertical gate on an automatic shifter to include a Neutral lock out? for example adding just a smidge of a notch to not allow a std pattern 12DNRP to slide into N from drive? or am I a little mentally challenged tonight?

    Speedo gear

    I did a 4-speed swap and now my speedo is 14mph too slow. I know I can get a new gear and swap it in, but my question is can I just use the speedo drive gear out of the 904 in my 833-OD? The speedo was correct with the 904 in the car. Thanks Matt

    getting the shaft?

    I think I'm getting hosed. I took my driveshaft down to have it shortened after I called and was quoted $70 to shorten 3 1/2 and balance.... so I drive 45 minutes to have them tell me that they 1st can't shorten it the desired amount without taking some off both ends. 2nd, will only balance...

    904 shifting strange

    73 /6 duster with 904 doing some strange things. The tranny shifts like it has a shift kit in it (hard and quick) but it's like shift points are all over the place. Problems: shifts too soon into 2nd even under full throttle. shifts not soon enough into 3rd most of the time. doesn't...
