    Old style Sure Grip (1964)

    I have an 8 3/4 rear in my 67 Dart. The rear is an older pumpkin type 1820657, open rear. If I put the old style Sure Grip, the Dana Power-Lok (# 2881487) from 1964 a clutch type in that pumpkin, is that going to fit? OR will there be issues with axle lengths and or thrust block widths?     My 67 Dart 340 hybrid has 8 3/4 rear, type 1820657 (58-64). It acts like a non-Sure Grip (wheels don't spin in the same direction when off the ground).     Getting to know my rear end...

    I Just bought a 67 Dart 340 4 speed.. It was stated to have a "posi" 8-3/4 rear... I tried to do a burn out to check the dual traction rear with no noticable 2 tire burn marks, due in part to the type tires and the cold weather... Next step I put the car up on 4 jack stands to check the car out...
