    Hard starting 360 magnum

It's just that, hard starting. The fuel pump is good but after setting overnight it acts like it doesn't get fuel. I crank it over about 10 different times, turning the key off inbetween, and hear it pressure up everytime. It gradually starts to hit until it does a rough idle. The rest of...

273 is now running, but valve train noise

It had been setting for 15 yrs. but got her running last night. The valve train chatters. Should I be patient, run it and see if it corrects itself or look into the problem. What should I be looking for if I pull the valve covers? It has mech. lifters. Thanks in advance.

    Yippee!

My 273 fired up!! After prepping the cylinders, freeing the stuck valves, changing the dist. cap, rotor, points and wires, it fired up when primed. :toothy7: Now to kit the carb. and fix a plugged fuel line.
