i'm looking to restore my 69 cuda decklid. the middle part is aluminum and wasn't sure if that's to be left polished or painted silver ?

i called yera one to order the weather stripping that goes around the door and they said my year and model ( 1969 barracuda) won't fit their application. is this true ? has anyone purchased this before ? wher else can i go ? thanks.
