    I was trying to make a pair of strut rods the other day and I notice some have a coarse thread on the K frame end and some have a fine thread. I suspect the fine thread is from the earlier cars 67-72 and the coarse thread is from the later cars 73-6 can anyone confirm this???

    i want to put rear leaf spring shakles to raise the car up but i need bolts ....so question is ....is a grade 8 bolt enough for this job or do i need a stronger bolt .......hopefully i can get the right bolts locally today ....but i was not sure if grade 8 is good to go
