Was bone dry Summer. Then 2 week soaker. Then nothing.

Back from test drive... The lights only come up after it sits a long time, mainly overnight. Restart it and they clear. They do not come on while driving.

That’s kinda where I was going… Does the scanner tell if its the module or sensor? Or which sensor? They were a full service shop, but now more tires and towing. I think the owner was the main mechanic and I think his wrenches spend most days in the box anymore.

I guess most of it gets blended by the time it hits the burner. But yeh, would be pretty extreme if it was mostly a thin hyd oil and hit a slug of gear oil...

I guess they are all flammable. Just figuring they are likely going to burn a little different. Figure it is not nearly as consistant as heating oil. Must adjust somehow so it aint running too lean or dumping smoke.

Of course I don't do myself any favors. Even thought about putting a mask on, but after wearing for covid so long, I hate them and don't wear when I really should. LOL

How are they affected by synthetic vs conventional?

Not sure what they do different than a regular heating oil burner. Guessing a different jet size, but biggest thing is it must be dirty AF to run. :eek:
