Very cool car. Congrats. Looks to be in pretty good shape. Not sure what your plans for the body are, but, as a 68 GT owner myself, i would suggest leaving the side trim on the car. If you look around, most 68's are stripped of their chrome. Both look good but the original is getting hard to see...

I just looked at the wheel arch and the rust on mine carries further than your piece. I'll pass. But that is a great piece for many.

I built my shop 32 X 54 with a side entry in the center more or less. 32 allows a bench across from the door and a full size pick up inside. 54 was to steal 14 off one end for an office, tool bench area and a mezzanine above. Essentially leaving me 32 X 40 shop area. That fits 3 cars across one...

I think it looks fine. Obviously very custom. I like it. The person who thinks that they have the “correct” car, usually spends their time nitpicking other’s.

"If" Joey is against ad blockers, which I doubt he gives ****, he would just make everybody pay. Simple ****. But the FACT that you can join for free and enjoy the knowledge, shows that he does not demand gold and if ad blockers solve your problem, good for you.

Many moons ago I had a Scamp and the members here made it easy for me on my conversion. I used a 1973 Duster disc / drum master. I just did the same again on my 68 GT.

Good gears. 8 1/4 is used by many as an alternative to the overpriced 8 3/4.

Yup. Beer fridge. Retractable air hoses plumbed in a couple locations. One by the shop door for going outside. Sandblast cabinet. Heavy steel bench with a large vise for welding and pounding.
