I won't ever say "never" because I always seem to find "The next one" when I'm not looking. But the current...
Watched that a couple days ago, 1970 Barracuda
Outstanding place to enjoy those machines, enjoy and stay sharp, been 48 years since I have been on one, but it was a Northway 440 with a nice power chamber exhaust, my friend jumps over a crossing road on it, not me, not at 14 anyway, and I was...

The year is 1985 and it’s my birthday! Hooray! My mom and dad were married a year earlier...
Here is the real car from the 1970 Super Bowl commercial running the new VOE mufflers we have been making. I know it is not an A body but I run these on my 69 Barracuda so it sort of fits in.
I know you all can appreciate such a unique car and it was awesome hearing and seeing it live.
Anyone catch the '65 Barracuda in in the pre-game commercial? It was pulling into a service bay, gold (I think), no stripe, owner on the list maybe? Very nice car.
just shipping it would probably cost as much
remember when you buy a kit from a manufacturer, unless you can arrange a pickup, you pay shipping. You also pay sales tax and their profit margin.
Maybe see if the seller will only sell you the parts that you need that are not available new, like the...
Have a part list?
I'm not worried about hoses-the local NAPA makes them. I'd be fine with an original system, but getting it and having it installed would probably cost a fortune.
There is. All A-bodies (and almost all RWD Mopars) use a different firewall stamping for A/C and non-A/C...
This is my Aussie 67 Dodge ute, still under construction....there is a Valiant version with chrome bumpers, trims etc. with an auto option. The Dodge was the heavy duty base model with painted bumpers, no body moulds, and used big block Barracuda body reinforcing's and heavier suspension. Only...
Anyone notice the latest Caddy commercial has a 68/69 Barracuda convertible in the back ground ? I bet GM didn't see it,,or care. It's the best part of the commercial.
Anybody see that Cadillac commercial on TV that has the fast music, a red SUV, and women riding around? When they go through the intersection there is a 69 copper Barracuda convertible sitting on the street in the back ground. How weird is that for a GM commercial?
Watching TV last night and a new commercial came on for Cadillac and I saw a gold second generation Barracuda convertible with the roof down parked beside the curb and then I saw it again only closer a few seconds later, interesting to see a late 60's MoPar in a Cadillac commercial.
Noticed a old Barracuda (1969?) in the background of this Cadillac commercial. A Mopar in a GM commercial? Pretty cool...
Looks a lot like my '67... :)
I was showing my wife how they put racing stripes on the 65 Dart GT/Barracuda and she said she likes that idea even though it wouldn’t break up the white on the sides. Pinstripes along the sides would certainly help. When our 93 Dakota was her DD, she wanted the skunk stripes on it!
i like...
Just because its a "rat" doesn't mean its not interesting. I have a 69 fastback barracuda I'm working on. Had it since I was a kid. At one point I really wanted to put a wing on it. I saw the old (this was in the early 80's I think) Die hard battery commercial with white fastback in it that I...
Has anyone seen or found any official Chrysler Corporation literature, advertisement, or commercial using the 'cuda' reference before the '69 model year? Radio commercial:
1964 Barracuda advertisement - Bing
Sort of old news...
Here are some others...
Cadillac commercial with the skateboarding young ladies has a Barracuda
17 seconds in
Music video by Sublime "Wrong Way" 67 Dart GT Convertible starts at around 39 seconds in
Caught this beautiful 69 Barracuda, parked on the curb on this Cadillac commercial last night! Check it out! A little grainy from being too close to the TV and pixels!
Fun
Was watching tv when this came on and something caught my eye in the background.
A 69 barracuda convertible in the background for some reasons who knows why.
