    72 Dart sunoco style hood

Years ago when I looked I think it was VFN that offered the SCOOP ONLY and you had to have it graphed onto whatever hood you bought. Even years later, It's extremely unlikely anyone makes the hood from a mold with the scoop for any Mopar. One reason being the response you got in a previous...

A real build not nickle and dime wannabe junk

Although this post has been given its fair share of earned funny responses, what purpose does it serve? It seems to be directed at someone or someones. Doing a quick search and reading a few of the OP's posts, his behavior towards others incites negative behavior. Maybe I'm reading this out of...

    belt drive MSD distributors

As long as you line-up the pulleys ad are able to set or vary the tension...you're good to use whatever you want. Now the drive pulley needs to mount unique to the engine (of course).

Notable Mopar races east of the Mississippi in 2025?

Well for me it'd be something at Norwalk. It is not only centrally located but, as said, it is a exceptional facility. "showers and powers" nice especially if you stay at the track. But I've heard the Moparty in Kentucky is a good event. I'd be hard pressed to hit Norwalk myself because it is...

    440-1 flow numbers

I was probing the 'big' 460 Predators I have to gage the MCS and learned how SMALL they are. They'll definitely hit a brick wall without some welding. But that wall is over 150HP more than I'd expect the -13 can be. I'm looking for the flow sheet MCH has for the 2.25 -1 cnc program which is on a...

    440-1 flow numbers

I think where Jeremiah was going was there'd be measurable gains just hogging the 240's open to MW area and using a MW intake. This too would make your 'small' cam seem bigger.

    440-1 flow numbers

I 'only' am using the 2.25" and think it would make over 1000 with a couple of tweaks but, yes the 2.30' would show MINOR improvement. I'm using the TR 2x4 but, I feel if it's on a RB block and the 3x single is used it'd make more power. A custom intake 'done right' would be above that. I'm not...

    440-1 flow numbers

And here's a great example of moving from -1 to -13's. Greg's combo is on limited passes and it's making great power too. Any time you want to slow down and swap on my -1 heads just let me know! lol No doubt it'd benefit from some Ti valves but, this isn't the first of it's kind to run SS. Most...

    440-1 flow numbers

I knew my ears were burning for some reason. :DWe know you're in good hands with Tim. I've spent my fair share of time porting and flowing with some good guidance and the last set of SR that I did refinish, I don't know what they flowed but they made pretty good power all considered. I'm still...

Inner fender removal for weight reduction?

For what it's worth my car has the inners removed completely. Of course it's reinforced at the shock towers with strut bars like should be regardless if they serve as weight bearing or just shock mounts. My car seems to mph better than it should given the combo so, I doubt there's an increase in...

    HEADERS

For power, the TTI seem to work good for a shelf Abody-Bengine header but if you are ever going to compete in SS...you'll need a custom set. FWIW there was a company advertising a shelf header for this application on racing junk. I have no experience in the 'service access' that the TTI allow...

Out in a Blaze of Glory - Low Dollar 318

Congrats, sounds like you had fun and showed how a cheap combo will run! I'd be putting a cheap NOS kit on it and seeing what else it has, it'd probably run 11s without problems.

That's specifically what I was speaking to when I said something to the effect 'nothing is perfect' ...you will never, in my experience, not wonder 'what if' The time, testing facility and materials needed are not free. That said if you just want to regardless and it helps YOU in some way then...
