guy i know has the freeze plugs out of the cyl heads on his 318.he bought the heads at kragens when there was a kragen.one freeze plug was rusted thru.he says he cant get the freeze plugs .i popped one out of the 340 heads on my bench(cause it will get new ones) and its a dorman p24c it will...

so when i was still collecting parts to build my 360 i bought a gmb water pump from kragen.i think i got the six blade.anyway i was under thecar today and i get hit with a drop of water.the damn thing is leaking!wasn't like i bought a rebuilt damnit.what brand should i get?:banghead:

an old guy i know has a 73 swinger.i bought it for 800.00 for some of the parts it came with. msd billet dist eddy air gap x heads etc. anyway i sold it to him for 800.00 as a roller. he has put in 4 or 5 engines and none have lasted very long. most grind the cam to nothing.i call him bad luck...

ok i centerlined the cam in my 360 ,came up with 108.the cam is suposed to be at 104.can i use the crank gears other keyway to fix it?or do i need a 4 degree ofset key?

was talking with a race engine builder about cams, he said he degrees them in so they pull the most vacume.he's not the most talkative guy so i left it at that.so would you advance it or retard the cam for most vacume?and why?

has anybody used the hughes 318 whiplash cam in a 318?it says they are for stock engines but they have a pretty big lift, says nothing about a loose converter either way.but it does say its for 8.5- 8.9 comp.

yanked out the engine this afternoon,found out where it was leaking oil.super glad the rear main is good. found out the plug was'nt the right one

yanking the engine out of my dart,going to reseal the pan,and clean up the wiring.can't afford to paint underhood yet but need to make sure theres nothing going to leak

well i am taking the darts pan off because the main seal leaks.i have the milodon standard 7 quart pan. does anyone know if you can pull it off in car or should i just yank the engine out?

ok here goes my 4x4 1974 360 has no spark.changed to known good stuff,ecu,ballast res. coil ,testlight shows power at coil,any thoughts?will change dist. today have good spare....
