I changed over my RV-2 compressor to r134 along with the rest of the system. I charged it yesterday and have high readings on the gauges. Low side is 50 and the high side is 250 at idle. I only put 24 ounces of refridgerant in it and it calls for 42 onnces of r12. I'm way below the 85%...

Does anyone here know how much oil to put in an RV 2 compressor after a rebuild? I've read in Mopar Muscle that it takes 10 to 11 ounces, but that seems like a lot. Also how much refigerant by weight does it need?

Hey guys, I was at the Nats. last weekend and I noticed that the a-body cars with ac had a watervalve on them. My 67 barracuda is a factory ac car but it has no valve or holes for one. Should I be looking for one or did some cars not require them?
