What battery to use in my daily driver recommendations

I used to buy Interstate batteries and then went on to NAPA Gold batteries when they were a really good product. Nowadays I only buy daily driver batteries at Walmart for one main reason. I can return them 7 days a week 17 hours a day at most towns with a population over 2500 people anywhere...

Holley Sniper in-tank pump, return line?

Ok i installed the in-tank pump this weekend and fired it up first time, the pump itself is really a nice piece and is barely noticable when the engine is running (100 times quieter than the 044 pump i had before) so thats really nice. The injectors up front are way louder now (compared to the...

How often do you replace your laptop computer?

My current laptop and home computers were both bough new in 2010. I strip out old history regularly and run AGV antivirus on both of them. I've also had them both in at a local computer shop for a more thorough cleaning a few times over the last 14 years. Both units are running Windows 7 units...

Cranks slow with the key, fast at the relay

THIS makes sense. Thank you. Electrical stuff has always been my weakest point. I was under the incorrect impression that by crossing the terminals, I just bypassed the ignition switch and bulkhead wiring alone. It never occurred to me that this was also bypassing the entire function of the...

What battery to use in my daily driver recommendations

last several years I've been upgrading the fleet at home with Super Start AGM batteries from O'Reillys. Yeah, I know they are not cheap. The one in my 2015 Ram and the '73 Duster have been in there for 5 years now and never had a lick of trouble.

How often do you replace your laptop computer?

I have thousands of pictures stored on this computer. 90% of them are car stuff. I do back them up on another hard drive. I don't store or post as many memes as I used to but that used to be part of it all.

416 with Comp Cams XE275HL Hydraulic stick

Looks pretty good to me mate, if you do run it use good quality lifters not cheap ones. It would be mild enough in a stroker. If it did end up cranking at 165-170psi, and tuned properly you’d probably be able to run it on 95RON fuel.

Cranks slow with the key, fast at the relay

Look again at the photo... the yellow is the only wire that comes from the ignition switch. The brown wire goes from the starter relay TO the solenoid/ bendex on the starter, the red wire comes from the battery to the terminal on the starter relay and FEEDS the car through the bulkhead (and...
