    Reusing 195k lifters?

It's all good, I wasn't offended . I'm usually inclined to things right/ extra, but it gets out of hand sometimes.

    Reusing 195k lifters?

Are u mocking me? Thats OK as they are actually Australian EQ. Am I using the old lifters now and getting new intake valves or just getting new exhaust valves since they are pitted? What is it that makes Magnum valves junk anyway?

    Reusing 195k lifters?

The seats on stock intake valves look very good after I cleaned them up, the exhaust valves are a little pitted, but I thought they could be cleaned up better with the valve job. The heads don't look used. I got them from a guy, who got them with a project car, but went with some aluminum heads...

    Reusing 195k lifters?

Thanks, I kinda knew the answer, but was just double checking. Now I don't have to screw around cleaning them. If the heads are "decked" and using a thinner head gasket to raise compression some, are longer push rod in play too? Thanks

    Reusing 195k lifters?

I'm doing a 5.2 motor. It is a 2000 and has 195k on it and ran quite good in my Ram van that unfortunately had frame rusted beyond repair. The block shows no wear...no ridge and still has visible cross hatching. The heads and exhaust manifolds were rusted to $hit on the outside, with busted...

[SOLD] 7.25 A body rear SBP

I have a 7.25 rear, I don't know the ratio, but it worked fine behind Slant 6/904 in a 72 Demon. It could use a cover gasket and pinion seal. It is missing the brake lines and E brake cables. Pickup 08244 $100 Would probably deliver if close by for full price offer, rather than scrap it, which I...

[FOR SALE] 83/4 shock plates and 2 bucket seats

They are not Mopar. I believe those are VW or Subaru bucket seats and tracks. I have them in my 69 Roadrunner and 70 Duster. I reinforced the floor, then made some plates, brackets and spacers to make them work...quite well. Very sturdy and comfortable.

    13/14 inch SBP Wheels

I can't find a size or part #, but, measuring them I feel they are 5.5 wide. I'm going to figure the 13" wheel to have no value and use it as a base for my "portable" bench grinder stand. Currently it's mounted to my "bench" and is taking up space, not to mention that it throws debris everywhere...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I replaced the parking brake cable equalizer on my van. As one who never uses them, I recently came to reminded of just how they are important in an emergency braking situation when it didn't work. Fortunately, a crisis was averted and I'll never take them for granted again.

    Machine Shop Recommendations 08244

Yes, I've heard of them and another shop nearby, which I've dealt with before. Not saying anything negative but, I'm asking here for a shop that elicits a more positive response.

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Made a neat little valve spring compressor from a $4 HF C clamp and some scraps to harvest the valves for another set of heads. Replaced the worn out 7260/727 driveshaft yoke, with a new 7290 from Doctor Diff on my 70 Duster. Then I finished the morning putting some new side markers on my 74...
