Well, they were when I bought the 60404 that’s in the 340 in my Duster and the 60403 that’s in the 318 for my Dart. The Lunati’s have faster ramps than the purple cams did, higher lift on similar durations. That would be really tough on a narrower lobe.

Yeah, i had to think back many years. Same intake and carburetor as the 360, stock compression ratio 318 bottom end, mildly ported 360 heads, 273 adjustable rocker arms and a Comp Cams 270S solid flat tappet camshaft. Sounded like a big block when we opened the headers.

I know off the top of my head that factory 340 heads are pretty much done between .480 and .50 No idea what 273 is. The zebra dart's 318 was a blast off the line. Had a pretty "mild" cam in it. Good for coming off slow and moderate turns. Only real issue was the car was going W2W road...
