Lol. I want to let the ground settle some before I do it.

    New Shop

Still deciding on the heat but radiant floor is definitely on the list. The only thing I would have to decide is where I would put a lift so I can plan out the tubing. I had it built with 12' ceiling height so I have room with a lift.

    New Shop

Last year the wife and I decided to buy a new house. We found one right down the road from her parents house. Having lived in the city, this house has 1.6a of land. We have lived here for a little over a year and decided to build a garage. Decided on 40x48 pole building. It's far from done but...

    DON’T BE FOOLED!

I still haven't convinced myself not to buy them. I am going racing this weekend for the last time this year. If I can find someone local to buy my trickflow's I will inquire about purchasing them.

    What rockers are you using?

    DON’T BE FOOLED!

I think that these are really good heads based on what the members that have them and what their cars run. I would love to try them but already having trickflow's already it's hard to drop another 3k to buy them. I don't know if the rocker pads were corrected compared to the SM heads or not but...

    DON’T BE FOOLED!

Boosted kinda did that. He sent his trickflow heads out and had them ported a little and larger valves put in. I don't remember what he was running e.t. after but is was somewhere in the low 50s maybe even the 40s. I am personally running high 50s - low 60s with out of the box trickflow's.

    DON’T BE FOOLED!

What castings are the head? I'm assuming they are the same castings as the SM heads. What valve size is used?

    DON’T BE FOOLED!

    @pittsburghracer gone.

John was a great guy who I had the pleasure of seeing and taking to him at the track. He was always willing to help people on the Internet and in person. Rest easy John, you will be missed by many.

Do radial slicks hook better in the heat than bias?

I think my wheels are 11.5 wide. I will have to look I that.

Do radial slicks hook better in the heat than bias?

I run 28x10.5 PBR since I have my car, never ran a bias ply. I usually have a 1.42-1.43 60' running 18psi of air. I have only spun the tires if something was really wrong with the track and that has only been about 3 times. I used to run as springs but now have the full calvert setup. My only...

Hopefully 2025 race season will be less painful

Good luck John. A guy I work with, who is 66 just had both done in December. He is in very good shape and one of the hardest working guys in the plant. He just wanted to be able to walk normal ( he walked bow legged) and be able to run to 1st base. He said the rehab was rough for a while but was...

How old are you and how long have you raced

Very cool article. Like John said a few of them still race, some are dead. Aside from who he mentioned, Paul Vinkler is a great racer/ Mopar guy. He will help anyone if you need it.

    73 Duster build named Fred

I think points would be cool but I just could never dedicate myself to go to every race. Like this past weekend that was Friday, Saturday and Sunday points races. It makes it tough for people who have other commitments other than racing. I do understand what Bill is going through and I am I am...

    JR Dragster

At keystone, we have a pretty decent turnout with juniors, guessing 20-30. It does seem that most stick with it and progress into a big car once the are old enough. I also work with a guy who has two kids running junior there. He was building a car for himself but has stopped because the juniors...
