Hey guys need some help, I have a 74 duster with air, recently swapped motors, switched power steering out to manual steering, keeping the air, did anything come factory like this? reason I ask is how do I run a fan belt now without the power steering pulley as a tensioner? thanks guys

I never use copper spray and I never reuse gaskets, why take the chance? new gaskets are cheap, for 75 bucks per head gasket I wouldn't even bother to chance it, I throw them on the scrap pile, and I had my heads off 4 time last summer

I set the wheel tire combo in the wheel well where I want it and then I measure from center of tunnel to each rim and use those measurements, or just take off equal amounts and hope the offset is correct, I don't do it that way. the pinion yoke needs to be center in the tunnel

I agree, not worth ****, better off getting a set of edelbrocks complete, you will save money in the long run, save time, work and weight, and have a better head.

only needs to be vented if it is in a sealed box, only needs to be in a sealed box if you don't have the proper firewall separating the trunk from the passenger compartment, a marine type plastic battery box is not NHRA legal, I wouldn't worry about venting it

I don't see an issue, 1" of fillet weld will hold over 6 tons of force, these look to be welded on both sides, the mount will only see pulling and pushing force, no side to side or twisting, I would run them, if a person has enough power to think they can rip these mounts apart I would worry...

good luck, purge the tubes, I used stainless so purging was a must but I also do it on mild steel just for a nicer finished product. I had $1500 into materials in the headers pictured above.
