Check to see if you have a switch on the inside firewall where the clutch petal goes though the floor. I can’t recall offhand what it is called but the clutch has to be depressed to start.
My first car 70 swinger 340, 4 speed originally plum crazy. When I bought it in 1980 for $300 it was already repainted in red I sold it 4 years later bought the hemi orange one I now in 2016.
Cragar s/s wheels seem go well period correct and never go out style. I have 14x6 on the front,15x7 on the rear, 5 on 4 bolt pattern Summit carries them.
My 1st car was a 70 Swinger 340 had to sell as an ultimatum and picked up another one a few years ago, but I have had this 50 Chevy for 25 years redone it twice in that time
