Two years is a lifetime ago with prices. It's crazy. Nice score.

Has anyone used a wheel spacer to fill in the rear wells on a Duster?

I beg to differ. All wheel, no spacer. No spring relocation.15x8 4.50 BS 275-60-15.

Cooper Cobra vs BFG Ta's on 2nd gen cuda

Thats an intelligent and helpful comment. Source? I've run both for years and there's no difference. Except for the white letter issue, but blackwall out Is the only way to fly anyway.

Cooper Cobra vs BFG Ta's on 2nd gen cuda

Agree. BFG have the history and look better for an old school look if you go white letter out. I prefer blackwall out for a clean look. Your car is beautiful.

Cooper Cobra vs BFG Ta's on 2nd gen cuda

Coopers are a good and popular tire, but I prefer the looks of the BFG. I had Coops on my car when I had steelies on it. When I swapped to Cragars, i went BFG. I don't dive my car in such a way that I could even tell a difference. The only thing I will say, is some BFG still have the Brown Wall...

DASH PAD FACTORY – EBAY “DASHPADSTX” ALAN FOXX AND ALANA -SCAM - THIEVES

Been there, done that. Unfortunately, it took me 8yrs to "get my judgment back" Them dang pills. Anyway, thank you for putting yourself at risk of ridicule by all of these perfect individuals, to warn us.

Garage Cat Sam (He was big on Mopars - Darts in particular.)

Sorry for your loss. Losing a furry family member is never easy. Being unselfish, and doing whats best, is our last act of kindness to our little buddies.

Opinions wanted for replacement Rear Spring selection. Thank you

Looks perfect to me. Imo, Darts are harder than other Mopars to get the stance and wheel and tire combo right. This is spot on.

Life after Holley Sniper - back to Carb

I second the AVS2. I would say that it's the best street carb out there. Also agree with the tuning kit. They're very easy carbs and the throttle response is great. I had an issue with boiling fuel, but a spacer cured that 100%.

Looks like a driveway in the 80’s or 90’s

'80s could be "back in the day" for him, as it was for me. I was just getting my license in '85. All my friends and I were into '60s muscle cars and '70s street machines. Driveways (our parent's) still looked like this then. Muscle cars were still everywhere in the '80s. It wasn't until the...

Another rear tire size question and advice needed.

1972 Duster. 275-60-15 on 15x8 w/4.5 works perfect. I'm all stock, no cutting, no spring relocation or SS springs and no air shocks. Fit perfectly and don't rub, even hitting train tracks at the 30mph.

Do I wait for the 5 speed?

Why not TKX 5spd? Why wait for Passion? The TKX is amazing and it's readily available. I originally looked at Passion, but read one too many negative stories for me. Just over a week ago, I had a close ratio Tremec TKX installed with a McLeod hydraulic clutch. Alongside the QA1 suspension, its...

    Plum Crazy or Citron Yella?

True. I'm one of the offenders, but it's been painted for 20+yrs, so not my fault. ;) B5 is my favorite, but I found this nice InViolet Duster. It was a lot of car for the money, so I snagged it a few years back.

    Gets hot and stalls out

Mine was doing smilar, until I got a composite carb spacer. I have an Edelbrock AVS2, RPM intake with Iron X-heads. When I would stop to get gas, it wouldn't start, or start, then shut off. It was percolating. The spacer cured it.

    TKX into 72 Duster issues

Thank You so much. I sent your reply to my buddy, whose working on the car. He said that's the part he ordered earlier today, when 5292 didn't fit. It's awesome to have confirmation. I appreciate your quick response!

    TKX into 72 Duster issues

Good evening, We're putting a Tremec TKX 5spd into my '72 Duster 4spd. I have Autometer American Muscle Gauges. We can't find a part to convert from the TKX speedo to the electric gauges. I called SilverSport, they recommended Autometer sensor part# 5292. It's way too big and there's not enough...

    "Early A" doesn't cut it

Im with you. They arent traditionally good looking, but they're so different that they're cool. Especially whan streeted up. Imagine that grill coming up behind you? Id get out of the way. Tough lookin.

    What do you think?

Get that Edelbrock off sooner than later. I had one on my Camaro in the '80s and it caught on fire. This a well known issue now. Imo, they look silly too. Your other choice looks great and wont harm your ride.

    DON’T do this.

I've also been a victim to the gravel driveway. I have lost so many bolts, nuts, screws, clips, washers, brackets..on and on. The only time I find one is if one them ends up in mine or my wife's tires. I don't fiddle with my car anymore, unless I put a tarp down.

    Old pictures type of day

Agree. I often say that. I wish I was driving age in the '50s or late '60s/'70s. I was born in '70, so I missed the prime days by a bit, but the '80s were fun and people didn't venomously hate each other, like today. Cool Musclecars were still around...and driven. I love when guys post these old...

Another Eye-Popper in the Parking Lot!!!!

I agree. My InViolet Duster gets so much attention, and it's because of the color. It's not my favorite (B5 is) but I do love it, especially with the V24 style blackout.

In a garage, discovered after 40 yrs--ugliest Cuda ever built.

Exactly, I think a lot are missing that fact. It's the last unrestored RTS show car. $$$. However, I'll agree. Every one of those RTS show cars was ugly (imo) But so is a Daytona and Superbird, and look at their popularity. Diff strokes, diff folks. It the history and importance more than the looks.
