I have read that '69 disc brake lower ball joint on A bodies is the same as drum brake lower ball joint but uses 9/16" bolts instead of 1/2" ..has anyone just drilled the drum brake ball joints to 9/16 or is the disc unit cast a little thicker in this area for the larger bolt hole?
