F arms dont fit anything but F, M and J bodies. ditto on the bushings. The upper ball joint is the same as the large A body. The spindles do fit A bodies. I have a set on my Demon.

Yup...8.25 was large bolt pattern only and 73 model year and newer for A bodies. The 7.25 was available in both bolt patterns 73-76, small bolt only 72 back. 8.25 was not available for the A bodies before 1973.

I've got a set if gtxtra doesnt.

I'm going to go with cobbled to fit, final answer:D I've not seen any A bodies with original factory isolators on the leafs. I didnt think they were used on any A's, but I sure dont know everything. The rubber piece you describe sounds like one half of the F,M,J isolator. Not designed to be...

F,M,J and late B bodies were iso mount leafs, 1976 thru 88 anyways. Big honkin pieces of steel wrapped around rubber pads with the leaf sandwiched inbetween and clamped to the axle. 7.25, and 8.25 rears.
