Just a “fwiw”…….. The “welded ball” style of pushrods, which is what those appear to be, are usually just parts store stock replacement quality, which can be a step down from OE. If you have an aftermarket cam and upgraded springs, they may not be up to the job.

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

The W2’s was got from you? Charlie and I don’t remember flow test numbers in tjose. We went through a lot of heads. They were really good flowing for sure, but the numbers, I don’t remember. The new bare W2’s we did a before and after on them for some of his YouTube channel. It was quite good...

Need some electrical help with my ‘68 Plymouth Valiant 100

I would suggest you start a new thread for the coolant leak to keep things organized. in the mean time if the threads on the bolt are gone and there is coolant leaking there, that is most likely a BIG part of the problem. What part of Utah are you in? There may be members in the area who...

    Bad engine miss

Yes but I believe this is my fault, life got in the way and it wasn’t started in quite a while. It truly was rebuilt about 1800 miles ago. Waiting for new pushrods, hopefully I get lucky

What's on your "to do" list for this winter on your race car?

My plans are mainly to get ready for passing tech. Long wheel studs, driveshaft loop, etc. I have some carb tuning to do, and would like to make adapters to run my 1-3/4" w2 truck headers to replace the 1-5/8", and to get it to halfway hook. This is for my 414" with offset rocker ProComp heads.

    [Found!] 1969 dart gas cap

Used cap. I usually buy a new parts store cap for the rubber seal & replace this old one to make a good seal.

    Battery tray color?

Oh, that will be a nice Valiant when you are done with it. I left the new battery trays in my early As black, but they were body color originally. I was kinda figuring the battery acid would eventually eat away the paint, although the anti-corrosion pads I have under the batteries now seem to...

It’s a 106. Grind # RX302S-R6 I’d be curious to know what springs and installed height the heads were set up with to go along with the 1.6 rockers.

If they paid me $100,000,000.00 I might consider taking one, bit only if I could bury it. In a cesspool.

What's on your "to do" list for this winter on your race car?

Not much ... I just got my carb back from AED after a rebuild and calibration and I just put it back on about an hour ago. I have to redo my exhaust again as the TTI H pipe I bought last year is junk ... the mufflers are hitting the driveshaft even after having the pipe rebent to move the...

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

I think the 2 hp per cfm rule of thumb exist because with a decent build anyone should be able to squeeze 2 hp per cfm out of practically any head but some heads will be able to make 2-2.5 hp per cfm with similar build. So a cfm numbers gives a ballpark minimum of ability (aka 2hp:cfm) but shape...

    Overlap Triangle

Ok so it’s 269/276 .654/.655 on a 109. That’s a pretty nice grind. I’ll look around and see what I can find but they have a 271 lobe that would be nice for the intake.

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

Put that air shifter at the top of your list of upgrades. Once you get low tens hi nines, it becomes a big part of dead on consistancy for three speed cars.
