Anyone tell me more about a filled block? Can you run more horse power, besides less water. Does it run cooler? Good for the street or just racing?

My son found this 72 Scamp with 42,034 miles for $6000. Picked it up over the weekend, To me the price was pretty good.

Well its time to go racing again, test and tune night at Pittsburgh Raceway park. Carlisle show is over so my 71 Scamp is heading down the track again. Fastest it has gone is 12.00@112 the way it sits. Hopefull I can get in to the 11s.

My son took his car to get inspected, the guy doing the inspection was going to put a inspection sticker on the car but his manager would not let him. He said the D.O.T. ET Street radials are not legal. Do you believe this. I will never go to them again.

My "71" 440 Scamp has just been selected to part of the Carlilse events Invitational at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. It will be in buiiding "T" for the weekend. That made my day!

How many FABO persons here have built there own cars? I not talking about having a body shop do a 100% paint and body work. I did 98% of all the work on My 71 Scamp with a 440. I think it great to see some doing all most all there own rebuilds.

I got my self a 2010 power wagon! Talk about a nice truck with a 383 HP and 400 FT LBS of torque. This truck reminds me of the old 66-70 power wagons. The power is great in low range with the lockers in.

Ran My 71 Scamp at Pittsburgh raceway last night. Ran a 12.06@111 MPH. Not to bad since the humidity was high. i was hoping for 11.90s. had a good time.

This Sunday, June 20, is the Mopar Show at Summit Racing. Is anyone from FABO going to be there? I am going to try and make it.

Had my sons motor on the dyno. It is a 440 with a 500 stroker kit, Edlebrock heads ported from Hughes racing, Hughes racing .579-.587 lift cam. super victor intake with a quick fuel 1050 cfm carb. Made 584 FT LBS torq@ 557 Hp. Not bad. I thought the HP would be a little higher. That should move...

Had a good day at the track, Got my Scamp down to [email protected], 60' time 1.70, 1/8th was 7.64. Last time I ran it was running 12.09s. I hoping to break 11s with the way it is driven on the street threw the mufflers.

Finally got my 440 Scamp down to the track. Ran a 12.09 @111.75. Not bad for a street car. My 60'-1.737, 1/8-7.7121. At least my hole set-up worked out pretty good.

Does anyone have a new Challanger and do you think its worth buying for $45K. I am not sure if I like them. I was going to buy a used Viper, then I thought to just get an SRT8 Challanger. Not to happy with them.

Just got my 440 with the Edelbrock RPM package finished and put on the dyno. Edelbrock said it would make 469 Hp, I got 484.1 HP. I changed carb to a Holley 850 CFM, Got 500.9 HP at 5600 RPM. Edelbrock said it would make 515 foot pounds at 4000 RPM, I got the same thing. With the Holley carb I...
