I think in general in most stock applications, most torque converters would flash around 2000ish rpm. Plus or minus a couple hundred At least that's what I remember of what would be stock for my 68 Dart with a small block aka non-lockup converter. Not sure how different the lockup converters are

I'm so sorry to hear this. You joined a group none of us want to be in, that is, having to lose your best friend. My sincere condolences to you as I feel your pain. I lost mine on Christmas eve at 7:00 pm 6 years ago after 14-1/2 years. Still hurts.

I did good with car related gifts. Cool ornament and shirt with my actual car on them. And a set of Cooper Cobras for the front (I bought the rears a few months ago but didn't have the cash for the fronts).

Got some great stuff, all for the shop. Except for the socks and underwear. Bluetooth hearing protectors. Oh, i should try them. Daughter got me a nice tripod for my iphone, for my youtube videos, i will be putting it to good use. Son and his girlfriend still havent showed up. Jeez.
